When you blow up the pictures it looks as though these gloves do have plastic inserts on top of the duel foam. Is that correct to assume?

These gloves have the plastic inserts on top of the foam on the back of the hand and sandwiched in between the foam layers on the fingers.

Their are a few subtle differences with the EQ Pro and the Total Pro. The Total Pro is roughly a gram lighter than the EQ model. Probably something that most players would not even notice. The palm on the EQ Pro is nash while the Total Pro has leather, which can hold up a bit longer than nash. The EQ has a microfiber liner that is more comfortable than the nylon liner on the Total Pro. They are priced the same currently, but they have some small differences that may help you in making your decision.
