Easton took it seriously with adding features like ribbed plastic inserts with low and perforated mid-density foams in the kidney areas. Closed cell HD foam in the spine keeps you protected while also keeping the pants lightweight. We all know as hockey players sometimes a full blown check to the boards can give your hips a beating. Thats why Easton added a large segmented pad with closed cell HD foam and a small HDPE cap provides excellent protection to the hip area so that youre protected still without losing any mobility. The mid-density foam and ribbed poly inserts in the thighs provide excellent coverage and protection when blocking shots or fighting in the crease for that rebound.The exterior to the RS II pants feature a split shell design, combining 840D, 420D, and textured nylons with ventilated mesh zones making the pants very durable and breathable. To make sure you get the most out of your stride when skating, Easton put stretch panels in the crotch, inner legs, and upper rear. The unique 2-way belt system allows the pant to sit correctly on your hips at all times without bunching up or restricting any movement during play.In the RS II's you get the lightweight protection you need without the bulk and restrictiveness of pants in year's past.
