Questions & Answers for Brians GNETiK Leg Pad

Question
Weight (vs subzero)
I just wanted to ask about the weight... In the listing, you have these 1.4lbs heavier than the subzeros.. Chris says on the video that they are suppozed to be the same weight as the subzeros. Did you weigh them with both strap systems? How much do they weigh with the smart-staps only? Thanks!

This is a great question. The pads that we weighed only had the smart straps installed, but the leather straps will only add another 1/4 lb at the most. The G-NETiKs are definitely slightly heavier than the Sub Zeros. That being said, however, they're still one of the lightest pads on the market.

Question
durability of the velcro?
I've had a few pads where the velcro on the pads are worn after 2-3 month of play, and I've had to sow on new ones. how durable is the velcro? since in my head, the smart-straps velcro is more likely to get a lot more wear to it with non-straps. (Still, i haven't been around the smart-strap system or Brians, but the G-netik pads caught my eye, as a former vaughn user, but stuck with the p4's)

This same Smart Strap technology in the G-NETiKs is also used in the Sub Zero's as well, and we have had zero complaints about that. The velcro that is used in the G-NETiK pad is of the highest quality so you won't have any problems with it.

Are the stock G-netiks, like the same ones you buy in the store the same as the custom G-netiks. Also can you get the G-netiks in just one break. Thanks!

We carry two Gnetiks in store the "stock" 3 colors (all white, white/black, white/black/red) and we have our "TG SPEC COLORS", which are the same specs as the "stock" pad but in our custom colors. No special mods were done to our Gnetiks.

We can custom order you a pair of Gnetiks in your own colors with single knee break, you would also receive double reward points for the custom order. Please give our customer service line a call to discuss all your options.

Question
Straping
I know you can remove the leather straps but is there a spot you can put a thigh strap onto or is that thru custom only? I have always liked having that top thigh strap to close the 5 hole even more.. I know the Sub Zero pads it was only thru custom

Because the GNETiks are a straighter pad than the Prostock, they do tend to size larger. You can email me your height, ATK, etc and I can help you with sizing.

The foam used on the face of Brian's pads is fairly stiff, I would compare the rebounds more like a Reebok P4 that a soft pad like a Vaughn. The rebounds are fairly active.

I don't have the 2200 exact weight off hand, but I believe the GNETiK is the lighter of the two options.
