Even at the low end of the series, this idea rings through the manufacturing process.The Mako M3 Player Pants use the same split shell design as the M5s and the top-end Makos, but with 210D padding instead of 840D and 420D. Along with the textured nylons, the 210D padding lightens the pants but still offers quality protection from shots and slashes. For your added protection, the M3s include an extended Spine Tec back protector. This rides more up your lower back and protects you from crashes to the ice or incoming shots to which you have your backed turned.Ventilated mesh zones are included throughout the M3s, which help you stay fresher for longer.
