Customer Questions & Answers for
Easton Mako Shoulder Pad

Going over the head and looping your arms through the slots is a thing of the past. The Mako conic body construction allows you to strap your shoulder pads around your body instead of scrunching your head through a hole. This allows for a more natural fit, while taking some weight off of the pad to keep you moving at top speed at all times. The protection is still what you have come to expect from the Easton line of products. Surrounded by HD and HDPE foams, the pad allows you to get in the dirty parts of the game without worrying about injury. The outermost front panel has a thick pad made of HD foam to provide you with the best sternum protection while the innermost panel of the closure system has more perforated medium density foam. HD foamsin the spine and clavical areas provide you with a powerful level of protection. The segmented FRM (Free Range of Motion) adjustable bicep protectors move with your upper arms, allowing you to have a better grip on the game. The molded HD foam and five-layer shoulder caps move with more freedom as well, giving you an extremely natural feel in all situations. The air-mesh liner helps increase air circulation and a comfort neck opening doesn't give you the claustrophobic feel you get with some padding. The future of shoulder pads has arrived with the Easton Mako series.
