Your best bet would be to consult the sizing chart of the G-NETiK product page which will give you a much better idea of what size you need. Comparing one pad to another is difficult because the answer will depend on exactly what model of pad you are in.

They have a bit more "s" curve and a bit stiffer in the knee and boot breaks, but does have the smart strap system. It is a harder face pad, making rebound play similar to a Reebok.

The S Series (2013) was modeled after that GNetik line and the M Series was modeled after the original Sub Zero (2012) model. The strapping of the the S Series will be the smart strap system while the M Series will have a more traditional 6 strap set up. The S series will have knee rolls while the M Series will feature a flat faced pad.
