Customer Questions & Answers for
Bauer Profile 951 Goal Mask

The Bauer Profile 951 Goal Mask is constructed using fiberglass and reinforced with Kevlar fiber, much like the Profile 950. This will provide you with supreme protection from top to bottom, but keeps a constant lightweight feel throughout. The cage featured on the 951 is a non-certified, cat-eye wire cage. This gives you great vision of the puck without worry of cage wires disrupting your flow. The inside liner is top-quality as well. The dual-density liner is mechanically attached, which helps keep the liner intact through the years without worry of it pealing away.Included with the Profile 951 is a padded mask bag and an extra sweatband.

What does the non-certified mean?

Not Certified means the mask cannot be used in high school or lower leagues. Due to the spacing of the mask it's possable for a stick end to get though. I have never had such an issue but high school and lower require there be less room then the end of a stick for safty.

Non certified refers the cage on the mask. The 951 and the 961 will have non certified pro cat eye on them while the 950 and 960 have the certified straight bar cage.
