why do the tongues on these skates look or are low like they look in the picture

The pictured skates are Graf G7's which have low tongues. The G35's have normal length tongues although I've seen both white and black felt.

I don't know why the pic shows a low tongue; perhaps that is a pro stock photo. The skates come with standard sized felt tongue.

Graf has the NT-3000 as well as the NT-Lite Ultra 5000 holders that can be customized. All you would need to do is place an order with our customer service department and the customizing process takes about 14 business days.
