Question
Is it necessary to purchase thigh guards along with these?
I noticed that in the thigh protection box it said that it has thigh wraps, but I wasn't sure if purchasing thigh guards would offer more protection, or if it would be redundant.

The thigh wraps the come with these pads is made of soft, flexible foam. It will provide a little bit of protection, but you would probably be better served by purchasing additional knee protection.

The EVO 6000 leg pads are specifically designed for inline hockey that is payed on a sport court type surface. A concrete or asphalt surface would definitely cause quick breakdown of the nylon/leather shell material.
