Question
replacing hard wheels on a cello case, want softest, can't decide between Labeda Gripper, Labeda Gripper Millennium, or Revision Variant Gold.
Cello case wheels are 68 mm. but so hard that rolling vibrations are severe and not good for the instrument. So I want to replace with softer wheels. Soft in-line skate wheels seem like a good replacement. Would need only two wheels and thus only 4 of the 608 bearings, but cost is not an issue here as all wheels and bearing sets seem reasonably priced. Just want a suggestion about which wheels and bearings to get.

My sons Variant wheels lasted 6 months longer than Labeda, which lasted 1.5 months.
