A typical D width skate is your standard width while an E is wider than normal. Reebok skates normally run slightly wider than a Bauer or a CCM skate so depending on your fit you may be good with a standard D width.

If you click on the sizing tab below the picture of the skate you will see how the sizing works. A good rule of thumb is that a skate size is 1-1.5 sizes smaller than your men's shoe size.
