The Bauer HLC Half Shield will attach to the Bauer 5000 helmet. When you buy the HLC Half Shield, it will come with screws, bolts and spacers that help attach the half shield to the helmet.

The Bauer HLC half shield will not fit onto the Bauer combo deluxe (920) as as replacement shield. Even though it looks like it would, the HLC half shield does not come with holes on the side of the shield to be screwed onto the combo deluxe (920) full shield.

Both the RBE and the HLC are great half shields. It really comes down to personal preference. The RBE is a "wave" style half shield while the HLC is a straight cut. The HLC also is equipped with vents for airflow to pass through the top and the sides of the shield.
