Question
How does it attach to non-ice surfaces?
I've seen videos where it stays put on a concrete floor, even with hard passes. Would it work on a shooting board for practicing one-timers?

You don't have to attach it - it is made of metal and is pretty heavy. It tends not to move when a puck is hit against it. On ice, you probably need the spikes because it might slide a bit when it is hit
