It has two large pads on each side covering a majority of the collar bone, the top and side of the shoulder joint is somewhat exposed.

The Reebok 7K padded shirt has an opening just like a pair of shoulder pads, so if fitted properly it will protect the Clavicle.

You can definitely wear this under normal shoulder pads... maybe it's not designed for that purpose... but i'm a GOALIE and I wear this under my chest/arm for extra protection. I'm sure it would work well under skater equipment too...

The Mission Thorax Flow Inline Hockey Shirt offers more protection and coverage than the Reebok 7K Padded Inline Hockey Shirt. The 7K shirt is still very protective but the Thorax Flow shirt has more padding on the front, back and arms of the shirt.
