Measure around your head using a tape, just above the eye brows and ears. Take that number and use it to compare to the sizing charts, if you are in the overlap between two sizes, I always go to the bigger size. Put it on, see if it fits, if so make sure the front is slightly above your eyes and does not slop around forwards to back and from side to side, should be snug but comfortable.

Measure 1" above the eyebrows around the circumference of the head. The sizing charts for what ever helmet you are looking for should tell you what size you need.
