The size of your holder and runner is located at the heel of the holder where the rivets connect the holder to the boot of the skate. You should see a 3 digit number with an "L" or and "R" for left and right. Sometimes different manufacturers have different sizes for their steel so their is no universal number.

At the bottom of the heel inside the skate, underneath the sole, there is a plastic cap that pops off. Inside you will need a socket wrench with an extension to turn the screw underneath the sole. Once the nut comes off the screw the blade is removed from the heel to the toe.
