This glove has a medium grip. It does not have any extra grip or stick-um but by no means is it a slippery palm. I bought these for my son...he likes them better than his exspensive Warriors he lost!

To determine the size of a hockey glove, measure between the fingers to elbow. The cuff of the glove should extend to the bottom of the elbow pads leaving no part of the lower arm exposed. To protect the fingertips, the fingers should not go all the way to the end of the glove.

The gloves in this picture are the Black/White version. If you are looking for an ALL black glove then you would want the Black/Black version of the glove.
