I would say they do offer a lot of protection, but as far as the most padded goes, I don't think anyone is going to beat a set of Reebok 11k shoulder pads with their JDP (jofa) technology.

The X60 shoulder pad is Bauer's newest top of the line shoulder pad providing superior protection with breathability and made with a light weight composite Vent Armor protection. I would say that it has some of the best protection offered out of all the shoulder pads while still allowing great mobility
