Questions & Answers for Bauer One60 Goal Skate

Question
Do these skates run the same size as bauer x:50 skates

Personally, I wear a 12D in x50 player skates. The 12D one60 goalie skate in 12D was a little too big. I'd prefer a 11.5 now, but I added some beefier insoles and it helped with the extra space. Check out my review below, it's a little more detailed.

The Bauer Supreme line doesn't fit a wide foot very well in it's regular (D) width. Bauer does make an EE width in this skate which may suit you better, though we would have to order some through Bauer and it would take a few days to get the skates. As of today (7/2/12), Bauer has plenty of EE width One60's in stock.

Can you sharpen the skates before shipping them?
I think buying these skates, can you sharpen the blades before shipping them?

Yes - we can sharpen the skates before shipping them. However, just make sure that they'll work for you before we do that, as you won't be able to return them if they don't work for some reason.

Best thing to do is to call our customer service line and order these over the phone. That way, our staff can make sure that the skates are sharpened before they're sent out.

I find they run true to size. I wear a size 9 tennis shoe and wear a size 7.5 in the Bauer goal skates.

Question
How do the Supreme One60s compare to the Supreme 1000s? What skate would be most equivalent to the 1000? And is the sizing consistent?
My Supreme 1000s are the only goalie skates I've played in. I've had them for about 8 years skating one to three times weekly and the boot has started breaking down (losing stiffness).

The One80 will be more like the Supreme 1000. The new Bauer goalie skates have a more a high step cowling unlike the previous Supreme 1000. Bauer's sizing has changed very little over the years so it should be consistent to what you are in now. For someone skating 2-5 times a week, the Vertexx cowling will be more durable and last longer.
