Yes - the NME 7 does come in a non-certified cat eye cage, and we have some Fit 2 (medium) and Fit 3 (large) sizes in stock (item #4417-41). We also have some replacement NME non-certified cages in stock (item #4547-2). Just type the item numbers in the search box to see them.

Next size up from Jr. Bauer

My son has a Bauer mask that is 6 6/8- 7 1/8 in size. When he moves up to the Adult Mask, should he be a fit 1 or fit 2?

Also, can a NME 7 be ordered with a certified cat eye in K9 paint ? ( Blue Dog paint scheme)

My guess is that you should start with a Fit 1. The "Fit" system is an all around face fitting system and not just a head circumference system. The Fit 1 has a smaller circumference, and it's built for a shorter face shape. I'm thinking that - in going from a Jr. to an adult mask - you goalie will have the shorter face that the Fit 1 accomodates.

However, as you're close to one of our stores, I would go in and get fit by our staff to make sure. The Minnetonka store has quite a few goalie specialists who can help you out, and if they don't have both a Fit 1 and 2 in stock then they can get one of them transferred in.

The NME7 does not come in a K9 paint scheme, unfortunately.

NME5 is made of Polycarbonate (plastic) shell
NME7 is made of lightweight fiberglass and carbon shell
NME9 is made of lightweight fiberglass, carbon, and aramid (Kevlar) shell.
