Yes, the sizing is the same for ice skates and inline skates with Reebok. A size to a size and a half smaller that the shoe size.

Question
Tough question here...
I have these skates (size 9) and I don't play ice much anymore. I love the boot and would like to put an inline chassis on them.

I have these skates http://www.totalhockey.net/Product.aspx?itm_id=3787&div_id=41 in a size 10 and would like to use this chassis on my 7k boot.

Any idea if this is possible? Or any idea where I could have this done?

The chassis may be too large for the boot or have possible issues with the rivet placement. Its fine to have new holes drilled to have the chassis mounted you would just need to make sure that the chassis will fit on that boot.

A standard skate width is a D (or R with certain manufacturers). EE means that the skate is slightly wider for someone with a wider foot.

The best way to heat mold a skate is at a pro shop that has a skate oven. If you do not have this option you can bake the skates at home on a baking sheet. The oven would need to be preheated to 175 degrees. Once the oven reaches that temperature, turn the oven off to ensure no direct heat and a uniform temperature throughout the oven. Place the skate in the oven on a standard baking sheet (one at a time) and let it bake for 6-8 minutes. Keep a very close eye on the skate to ensure it doesn't overheat and the material doesn't separate. Once the skate material has heated up and is soft, take the skate out, put it on and lace it up. Make sure to lace the skate up very slowly to not damage the eyelets. Make sure the skate is laced game tight to ensure proper molding. Keep the skate on for 15 minutes and make sure to stay seated and do not put any additional pressure on the skate. After 15 minutes take the skate off, re-lace and tie the skate. Let it sit for 24 hours before using the skates again.
