the x 60 are a little better quality.
i tried on both and they feel about the same.
plus the x 60 cost way more

It doesn't compare at all. This glove is just an Vapor X30 with plastic inserts. This is NOT a pro level glove. Save the $30+ bucks and get a X30, which is better looking. Or if you want the plastic inserts get the Vapor X40 glove and save $10 or so. Plus the X40 glove has a better palm, liner, and a 3-pc index finger.

I have vapor x:lites and the palm and thumb of my top hand wore out after a couple months. Do these gloves have a better palm material?

They are pretty similar to the X:Lites. However, since the X:Lites, they have re-upped on durablility on the palms and you should see a considerable difference. Just keep in mind if there is an issue, they do hold a warranty on them.

If you are wanting to stay in the Bauer line, the closest glove as far as fit and price would be the Bauer Vapor X:40 Gloves (http://search.totalhockey.com/searc...).
If you are looking for a similar fit in another line, I would recommend the Easton Stealth S19 Hockey Gloves (http://search.totalhockey.com/searc...). They have a similar style of fit, but the exterior part of the glove is a polyester material as opposed to the Bauer X:Pro Glove having a leather/nylon shell.
