I suggest a 7, because you want a little room for your toes, just a little, not too much or too less! So your gonna have it perfect and a perfect fit! I'm size 8 and a half too!

I would suggest a 6.5 or a 7. Get a 7 if you want just a little bit extra room.

If you are 8.5 in US show size, I would recommend you go with a 7.0, if not, a 7.5. That way, it will give room to grow into in case of a growth spurt.

Both charts are in U.S. sizes. Ideally you skate size is a size to a size and half down from your standard shoe size.
