Its best to let a pro shop handle it, but there are screws inside the holder that losen the steel runner.

A Bauer Tuuk can be placed on a Reebok boot but some new holes may have to be drilled into the boot for the rivets.

Bauer LS 2 Holders will go on any skate, although a few new rivet holes may need to be drilled into the skate.

Sometimes a player only needs one holder so all the different brands of the holders are sold individually as right(s) and left(s).

You would need a 272 holder. Tuuk holders would work fine on U+Pro skates. They may have to drill one or two additional holes on the bottom of the skate but it will not affect the integrity of the skate.

Why are the sizes for the skates different?

I need two 280 skate holders but there are only 280 holders for left skate. Am I reading the size wrong? I have a Bauer X 1.0 and it's a size 9. At the bottom of the holder it says 280R, that's the size of the holder, right?

You are reading the sizes correctly. Unfortunately, The Bauer Lightspeed II LE Holders are a limited edition holder and will no longer be carried once their supply is out. We are out of the size 280R and wont display it on the site due to that inventory.

The runners come in a set of two and the holders are purchased individually. You would purchase one left holder and one right as well as one set of runners. You can most likely find a local pro shop that can install them for you.

The holder size will be a 272. The size is located on the heel of the holder next to the rivet holes.
