Customer Questions & Answers for
A&R The Re-Edger

* Innovative hand-held multi-function tool utilizes the sharpening power of ceramic steel and a replaceable honing stone for de-burring, making The Re-Edger perfect for on-the-fly repairs. * Combines handheld sharpening technology and precision honing in one simple device * The ceramic steel fits player and goalie hockey blades as well as most figure skate blades * The Re-Edger does not replace professional skate sharpening. It should be used between sharpenings and for emergency purposes * To repair skate blade edges, place skate blade between the white prongs and slide The Re-Edger with light pressure in one direction only. Repeat if needed. * To remove nicks, place stone flat onto the side of the blade. Using light pressure, rub in one direction only. Repeat until abrasion is removed. Do not over rub.

Question
Will this work on flat bottom V?
Can this be used on flat bottom V sharpening? I assume it can since the edges are still parallel but want to be sure.

Yes this will work on a flat-bottom V cut. For those of you wondering what this is, it is my understanding that a "flat-bottom V" is different from a regular hollow, in that, instead of having a normal hollow in the shape of a U, it literally make a V shape in the blade and not a U shape. Since this tool works on sharpening the outer edge of your stakes it does not matter if you have a V or U hollow.
