Your best bet would be a size large. It's better to have the length you definitely need and to tighten the Core Pad down a little, as opposed to having the girdle be too short and constrictive, not giving you the full amount of protection.

The Adaptable core pad is essentially the x60 pants with out the shell. It will have the same protection as the pants and slightly lighter than the X60 pants.
