Yes, the boot is narrow at the front and toe area. It fit my foot better than the Bauer supreme and Mission skates. The heel feels about the same as the other brands.

yes it is narrow. To me it makes it seem that it holds to your foot beter .

I wear a size 9 shoe. had size 8 skates that did not fit, too tight. why should I to to a 7.5?

Every manufacturer has a different fit but all will give the recommendation for the size to be at least a full size smaller than your US shoes size. Their is also some personal preference involved. Some players prefer a very snug fit and go 1.5 sizes smaller and some prefer slightly more room and go with only a full size smaller.
