Tongue Construction - FORM-FIT molded, anatomical forward flex tongue with high-density metatarsal guard. The forward flex tongue would most likely allow the movement you need.

The Vapor X 6.0 is a high quality skate will a full composite outsole that will be stiffer than some of the other skates. You can speed up the break-in process by baking the skates up to 2x.

I've skated in my teammates one80's a couple times and I have X6.0's. I didn't notice any different in stiffness, but the vapors held my ankle in place a little bit better.

Bauer skates do run slightly more narrow than others but they do also have an arch. You may want to look into some sort of arch support insole.

These two skates are almost exactly the same but the liner on the x60s are a little more durable and advanced then on the 6.0s. But all in all, they are pretty much the same skate.

The Vapor line tends to have more of a snug, tapered fit. If you are looking for a more traditional, wider fit, I would recommend the Supreme line.
