I own this girdle. It can be completely opened up down the front via Velcro closures. (Two at the waist and one on each leg.) It does not need to be slid on like pants. This allows you to put it on or take it off without removing your skates.

The Total One core pad is similar to the One95 girdle. Its the 2011 newest model Bauer offers. With its great mobility features and protection the Total One Core Pad is Bauer's top of the line girdle.

Based on the information you supplied I would say the small. The small should not obstruct movement as much as the mediums and will fit more to your body type.
