When purchasing pants the rule of thumb is to always go by your waist size. Your best best would be to find a medium tall pant which offers a few extra inches in length. The EQ50 does not offer the medium tall but the Easton Stealth 85S does. (http://redtag.totalhockey.com/product/Stealth_85S_Player_Pants/itm/8116-41/)

Question
Would these fit a 6'4 player with 38 waist?
These look really comfortable with the hip adjustments, so long as they fit.

If they don't fit: any other suggestions?

These pants should be able to fit your measurements. If you try them on and they are a little short I would recommend trying a XL Tall pant. We currently offer XL Tall in 2 pairs of pants. The Bauer Supreme One80 and the Easton Stealth 85S.

The difference is length between the small and medium is about an 1.5". Mediums are roughly 25" in length, so a small would be 23.5". I would strongly suggest a medium pant considering your height and waist.

Question
I am unsure what size to order.
I'm still wearing my hockey pants from high school. They have served me well, but I think they are now just a bit on the short side. These pants have gotten such good reviews that I am very interested in purchasing a pair. I am 5'9", approx. 180 lbs. I wear a 34 waist and see that medium pants are for 32-34 and large is listed at 34-36. I am worried that medium may be just a bit short as the pants I currently wear while I worry that I may find the large much bulkier than my current pants. Advice?

You find yourself like many of us who in between sizes. I always suggest, in a case like this, that the Large is the way to go. You can not make the medium any longer so it could leave some vulnerability there. Also, when pants are a little snug around the waist then tend to slide up and hinder mobility a bit. I would also suggest if you are wanting to stay with a Medium to check out our 3 pants we offer in Medium Tall. They give an extra couple inches in length.
