Question
What are the dimensions of the protection just below the neck?
I may be incorrect, but upon close inspection of the picture it appears there is a foam insert on the front of the shirt, just below the neck. I was wondering what the dimensions were (length, width, thickness (preferably in inches)), and composition of the insert. I was also wondering if there is any protection down the back of the shirt (between the shoulder blades). Thank you very, very much.

The foam pad in the front measures 4" long (from the neck down) and 8" wide. It' is made of 1/2 inch foam (no plastic) that is meant to proctect against skates cuts - not puck impacts. There is nothing but shirt on the back side.
