I would imagine not, as you need the bridge with the lace holes specifically in the instructions for this product.

would not recommend it because they don't entirely save any time and are cheaply made. Also they could break off during play.

I believe so - you'll just have to run the thinner lace through the plastic insert that runs inside the open channel of the sliding toe bridge. I've attached a video that shows how to attach the Flex Toe to a traditional toe bridge. This will give you an idea of how it works if you don't know already.
