Customer Questions & Answers for
CUSTOM APX Ice Skate

The Bauer Vapor APX Ice Skates represent a decades-long culmination of material and technological advancements, and result in the lightest Vapor ice skate to date. A new X-Rib boot construction integrates with Bauer's ALIVE Carbon Composite exterior to give you a super-light, super-strong, super-comfortable boot that will revolutionize the way your foot interprets speed and experiences comfort. Also featuring a new, lighter weight Form-Fit 3 tongue, a 27% lighter TUUK LS Fusion runner, and an aggressively-angled boot cut, the Bauer Vapor APX Ice Skates are designed and engineered to flat-out perform. * Bauer's flagship ice skate designed for and by elite level hockey players * X-Rib construction provides 3-Dimensional structural support and stability throughout the entire boot, and allows for faster acceleration, quicker turns, and a more confident hockey stance * Experience out-of-the-box comfort with a fully heat moldable exterior via Bauer's ALIVE carbon composite boot construction * Aggressive boot cut angled forward to allow for a greater forward flex and more ready to pounce stance * Form-Fit 3 tongue enhances lace bite protection with an external metatarsal guard that is flat and smooth, and allows the laces to ride slightly up and down the guard, rather than digging in with every stride * Hydra-Max 2 liner keeps the feet dry and cool while locking the heel in tight * Form-Fit + footbed with Ergo-toe protection, adds wings around the toe of the footbed, to give your toes slight padding within the hard plastic toe cap * Ultra lightweight vented carbon composite outsole is responsive to foot movements while also allowing moisture to escape the boot * TUUK LS Fusion runner reduces the weight of the runner by 27% and delivers increased speed and power with every stride * TUUK Lightspeed 2 holder with TUUK LS Fusion runner * Patented coloring technique * Does not change the structural integrity of the holder * Make your skates stand out from the restPlease note: * Image shown is an example of a select color and is not intended to be an exact representation. * Custom skates may not be returned or exchanged.

You can take them to any local Total Hockey or rink near you and have them baked to help the breaking in process. The baking helps form the skate to your foot.
