The VM 9500 goal mask is a highly evolved and improved version of the previous 8800 goal mask. The shell has been strengthened and is now 3mm thick and also features added reinforcements of Kevlar and Spectra glass in the forehead and chin areas, with most of the shell being constructed of carbon fiber. A high temperature compression molding process heat sets epoxy resin with carbon fiber and fiberglass materials. This process eliminates any gel coating on the surface so the shell will not chip from impacts. * Internal padding of lightweight pro VN foam has full coverage and no gaps for continuous protection, padding is completely removable to allow for cleaning and maintenance * Cage design is optimized to provide true vision sight lines and positions the cage bars to achieve for optimum clarity and features stainless steel construction for durability and low glare * Composite outer shell constructed with carbon and aramid fibers for lighter weight and strength * Shell shape is carefully designed and contoured to move impact loads away from the frontal impact areas * Flared chin allows the mask to be tucked in the chest area to better protect the neck area * Extra wide facial opening provides enhanced vertical and peripheral vision * Football style chin cup provides added ventilation and comfort * Includes mask bag
