I don't know about the length of the inseam, but I'll put it this way, I'm 6'3", 200lbs, and I ordered the XL and the inseam length is perfect, so I would say just order what the size according to the chart and it should be pretty close if not right on the money like mine are.

i am 5,10 and i use a large but i tuck it in at my skates. good fit. If your not 5,10 or 5,9 i would say go with medium.

I would say no because I ordered my exact size and there's plenty of room in them for a girdle. I have to tighten the belt a lot to get them to stay up. And by a lot, I've got 3-4 in. of belt hanging on my sides.

Typically, you would be able to wear the same size under the pants, but a lot of people have been saying to go with one larger size and use the belt on the pants to tighten them.

There is no padding on the inside of these pants.They are a pants shell that you would have to put padding underneath.
