Question
What size do you order? 1.5 sizes lower than your shoe size?

No, I ordered my shoe size and they fit pretty well lengthwise. Width is a different story. I have a narrower foot than most people so it was a little wide for me, but I just tighten them really tight and it works out pretty good.

The golden rule for inline skates is 1-1.5 sizes below your normal U.S. shoe size. I would recommend closer to 1.5 below shoe size for added comfort.
