Most use heat guns, but the easiest way is to hold over the stove for a couple minutes or so.

A heat gun is the best way. If you do not have a heat gun you can use an electric stove top. keep any direct flame away from the glue.

Yes, The APX blade can be used in the X60 shaft. Both have the same 0.520” Thin Taper system.

The APX blade does fit in the Vapor XXXX shaft. Both have the thin 0.520" taper design.

The Bauer APX is Bauer's newest top-of-the-line stick within their Vapor Line. The X60 was the 2010 top end model in that line. Both have the Lightweight TeXtreme construction and the dual density blade core but the APX has the eLASTech technology for increased durability.

Will this blade fit a Easton EQ50 shaft?

I have a broken Easton EQ50 composite stick. The blade broke and I'm wondering if I can cut the blade off from the shaft and use the Bauer APX blade as a replacement.

It is a very tricky situation when trying to put a cut off blade into a broken stick. You would have to apply the glue yourself and hope that the blade will fit. Most Bauer blades are designed specifically to fit Bauer shafts.

One piece sticks are not designed to withstand a blade. The dimensions wouldn't work and the integrity of the stick would be compromised along with the performance.
