Facemasks are universal. You can use any brand facemask on any brand helmet. Just make sure you get the right size facemask for your headsize. If the facemask is too big it could actually cause injury. If the facemask is too small your chinrest won't sit in the right spot.

I put my 4500 cage on it. The hinges on the forehead took a little wiggling but it fits well now

Montreal is a blue color. Not as dark as Royal blue, not as light as Carolina blue. The same blue that Montreal has on their uniforms.

The helmet runs painfully small. Get the bigger one if you are remotely close to the maximum expansion size.

The expiration date on the helmet depends on when it was manufactured. In most cases the helmets we receive from the manufacturer have expiration dates all the way up to 2015.
