Facemasks are universal. You can use any brand facemask on any brand helmet. Just make sure you get the right size facemask for your headsize. If the facemask is too big it could actually cause injury. If the facemask is too small your chinrest won't sit in the right spot.

The expiration date on the helmet depends on when it was manufactured. In most cases the helmets we receive from the manufacturer have expiration dates all the way up to 2015.
