Customer Questions & Answers for
Graf Canada LTD. G3 Ice Skate

Some things just get better with time. Take the Supra G3 Ice Skate, for example. While the materials and construction have evolved considerably, the fit profile is unchanged since 1986. That's not to say the G3 is out of date, quite the opposite. The boot has been updated to include the elite materials and engineering found in all G series skates, but with a playoff-tested fit that only a decade's long run could produce, players all over the world have come to respect the G3's consistency. The Supra G3 Ice Skate is living proof that if it ain't broke then don't fix it. * Carbon fiber core integrated with a Poly Ethylene insole for ultra-rigidity and stability * One-piece MicroPoly quarter and frame structure that gives feather-light agility and rock-solid strength * Thermolam construction and anatomical ankle support for maximum comfort * AirNet lining with evaFIT technology for superior moisture management * GRILAMID toe cap that withstands pucks, sticks, boards and hard charging defensemen * For those with a narrow heel and shallow instep depth, this is your skate

Most of the Graf Skates tend to run a little more narrow. However with any skate brand, they do not make the fitting consistent across the board. I would at least try them on first to ensure a comfortable fit. Total Hockey does NOT charge restocking fees or shipping fees if you were to exchange the skates for a different size or brand, so I would say it is a safe choice to try them out first. (Just don't sharpen or bake them until you are sure they are the ones that fit!)

Graf skates are definetely your best best for a flatter foot. I would highly recommend getting to a Hockey store and trying a pair on to make sure they have a comfortable feel.

Question
Supra G3 Ankle support
I bought the Supra G3 skates in December. I love the skates aside from my ankles going numb about 15 skating in them. Is this part of the breakin of the skates or does this mean I have an improper fit? I have skated on them around 15-20 times in adult rec league, nothing real intense.

Graf skates are known for having a fit like no other manufacturer. Stiffer skate boots like the Graf's can take some time to break in. If you were in an older style skate before that was manufactured differently that the newer styles on the market today, you may have some trouble adjusting. If you have baked the skates one time already you can bake them one more time without risking the integrity of the skate. If the baking and constant use doesn't eventually break the skate in, you may have a fitting issue. It is hard to pin point these types of issues with Graf with the fit being so unique.
