The 9ks are white, they have labeda millennium wheels (higher end than the gripper ones) and have a better protection package- they call it Max Armour IV.

The 9k inline is going to be the better of the 2 skates. Lighter weight, better protection, stiffer boot and more comfort. The 7k is a great skate, but depending on the level of play and the amount of time you will be skating per week, you may want to get the upgraded version and go with the 9k.
