Customer Questions & Answers for
Surge 221 Hockey Glove

Taking innovation to the next level with refined feel, flexibility and control. The Torspo Surge 221 Gloves offer a seamless combination of classic Torspo durability and performance innovation. The 221 Series is designed for the player looking for a glove that just does its job. Nothing flashy or over the top. Just good old fashioned gloves. The 221's fit that mold and then some. By taking a traditional design and infusing it with today's technology, the Surge 221's offer a great blend of tradition and innovation. The Surge 221's feature a Tech-Hyde shell with Kanga wear zones. Which means the gloves are made of a synthetic leather that is both lighter weight and more durable. A six piece back roll with slightly tapered fit gives you plenty of mobility for puck handling while remaining securely fit to your hands - a closer fit between glove and hand leads to more accurate play. The mobility theme is continued down the fingers where you'll find a three-piece index finger and two-piece middle, rink and pinky fingers. This gives you flexibility, more stick control, and faster break-in time. A soft Nash palm provides long-term comfort while a rubberized grip panel extends the life of the palm while also providing additional grip to the shaft. Protection is supplied by dual-density foams throughout that absorb and disperse energy upon impact. A built in thumb-lock furthers your protection against hyperextension. A quick dry sport liner rounds out the package.
