Improved for 2012, the 7110 features the same Velocity 5 look that the pro's have, with an improved shape to help goalies both catch and cover the puck on the ice.For starters, the steep, molded plastic thumb design provides great protection, and it creates a deep pocket that traps pucks inside. Even if your little one has a hard time opening and closing the glove at first, the deep pocket will hold pucks inside the glove until the goalie's hand strength improves. The palm of the glove features soft sting guard layering along with molded plastic for extra protection.The blocking cuff is large to block pucks, but it has been thinned out to decrease weight. Inside the glove you'll find a wrist strap that tightly snugs the glove to smaller wrists.
