Warrior Ritual Leg Pad

* Pro level sizing and construction in a lightweight package (Ritual Pro Only) * Combination of nylon and leather straps (Pro Only) * All Nylon straps (SR/Int & JR) * Exclusive bindingless construction allows for a lightweight pad while increasing durability by taking away the typical wear points on the pads * Rounded boot eliminates friction with the ice * New Knee Leveler stabilizes the knee landing area providing a continuous landing surface * Adjustable strap position offers a greater degree of strap placement customization * Internal hinge design allows for flexibility through the knee and ankle while providing a sturdy structure to prevent pad shrinkage and settling * Exclusive post wedge panel provides increased protection to the outer calf while helping to seal the pad to the post when standing up with knees bent * Exclusive hinged knee design allows the outer portion of the knee cradle to twist when going into a butterfly, allowing for a smooth rotation with minimal stress on your straps * Sliding toe bridge allows the pad to be worn snug at the toe, creating a more responsive feel while allowing the full range of movement for the skate to drop to the ice during a butterfly, thus reducing stress on the goalie's ankle, knee and hip * Squared up design creates a complete seal across the ice when in the butterfly * Thin thigh profile allows the tops of the pads to overlap each other when in your stance and moving on your feet, thus increasing mobility * Exclusive tabletop boot construction allows the boot to sit and move on top of your skate, increasing mobility and coverage * Pro Sizing: 32 + 1.5, 34 + 1.5, 36 + 1.5 * SR Sizing: 32 + 1.5, 34 + 1.5, 36 + 1.5 * INT Sizing: 30 + 1, 32 + 1 * JR Sizing: 24 + 1 (9 width), 26 + 1 (9 width), 28 + 1 (9.5 width)

Questions & Answers for Warrior Ritual Leg Pad

Question
Toe attachment?
In the picture the pad shows a sliding toe bridge. I was told at Total hockey that the pad comes with more options like the one on the pro custom you have at your store. Is this true?

Standard toe bridge is the sliding version. I assume with how they are attached (rivet style screw/nut) that they can be swapped out with different styles. I kinda like the slider though.

The Ritual Senior leg pads only come with a sliding toe bridge. Only the custom pads may come with a regular toe bridge.

Unfortunately not. The stock sets only came in 32, 34 and 36 inch sizes and we didn't custom order any additional sizes.

Unfortunately you cannot get the Ritual Senior leg pad in a 33 - 32+1 and 34+1 are the only options. To get a 33+1, you need to do a custom order.

If you want to discuss other pad options, please contact our customer service reps at info@totalgoalie.com, or 800-517-1238.

This Ritual line is discontinued, so we will not be getting a replacement for these pads. The new Ritual G2 series, however, will be available sometime next week - though I don't think we got any white/black/royal colors in that set.

Question
pads for a beginner
I'm trying to decide between Vaughn velocity v5's and these warrior ritual's, which would be better to start with?

Both are great options, though each will perform differently. The V5 will be "softer" at every break, and rebounds that hit it will stay much closer to the pad than they will with the Ritual. The Ritual will have soft breaks below the knee and at the boot, though the upper break will he harder. However, the Rituals will slide better on the ice, and they'll fit slightly taller as well which may help provide better 5 hole coverage in the butterfly.

Hope that helps! If you want to discuss each in more detail, please email or call or customer service line and our staff will talk through both options with you.
