Questions & Answers for Reebok 16K Pump Ice Skate

Question
What are the main differences between the 11k skates and the 16k skates?
They are exactly the same price. I need to buy a new pair of ref skates. I wanted to know which is a better overall skate.

An 11k is not as sturdy of a boot as a 16k. The stronger the boot, the more it holds your foot and protects it, but also, the harder it is to break in.

The 11k is going to be better in terms of overall quality, as it was last year's top-of-the-line skate compared to this skate which is mid-advanced in its line, even though it is a year newer. The only problem with the 11k is that it's hard to find the 2011 model in the right size, since most of them have been sold. I'm actually in the same exact situation as you (except for being a ref) and I bought 11ks but they are too small so unfortunately I think I'm gonna be trading 'em in for some 16ks.
