I have many friends who use 9k skates and i see that the 20k boot is much stiffer. It is also a more narrow fitting boot. The skate is over all higher performing, but they do not sacrifice comfort at all. The 20ks also come with better runners and blades which help you with stops and turns along with the super responsive boot.

Reebok's new 20K is the newest skate for 2012. Made in Canada, it has several upgrades since the release of the 9K skate. The overall fit of the 20K skate differs in that it is a more regular fit as opposed to the wider fit of the 9K. The 20K also contains a clarino moisture-wicking liner, as well as composite inserts in the boot construction, offering superior protection and stiffness.
