I tried on both pairs yesterday. They fit exactly the same. They look nearly identical. The CLs are simply lighter because of the material. I will say that both of these are quite light, so you won't feel that the CSs are heavy. I returned a different pair of shoulders I bought to get these. I was going to buy the CLs, but my BreakAway points hadn't credited yet, so I stayed with the CSs to save money. They are on sale right now, so the value is great.

CS = Crazy Strong and CL = Crazy Light. The CL pad uses some lighter weight materials to provide a more comfortable feet and reduces overall weight by about 25%

Extremely well-ventilated. This is one of our highest end shoulder pads and CCM did it right. Absorbs and wicks away the sweat to keep the pad light and mobile.

It's VERY similar. The Crazy Light is simply that... lighter. They fit exactly the same. I tried on both pairs yesterday and was going to buy the CLs, but my BreakAway points weren't credited to my account yet, so I went with the Strongs to save a little cash. I returned a pair of Bauers for these because of chest protection and the way they fit my arms. Both these and the Lights have great chest protection and I think you'll be happy with these. Yes... there is a small weight difference, but they are both light. When I talked to the guys at the shop, they said that the protection these offer vs the Lights are the same... just that the Lights use more expensive and lighter material.
