Customer Questions & Answers for
Reebok 18K Catch Glove

The 18K catch glove is all that goalies are looking for. Built off of the popular Premier 3 catch glove design, the new 18K has some addtional features that make a great glove even better. For starters, the glove features a one-piece, injection molded cuff and thumb that is designed to create a wide, deep glove pocket. The stock model comes in the 590 design, which creates a traditional 60 degree closure (index finger to thumb closure). The pocket is somewhat deep, and the top of the T-web completely seals to the ice when covering the puck. The opening cuff in the glove is detatched, which allows for great wrist mobility. The backhand features three tigthening straps - wrist, backhand and fingers. New on the 18K, the nylon webbing wrist strap has been run through the cuff so that you don't have to detatch the cuff to tighten the strap. * MAXCOVERAGE: One-piece injection molded thumb cuff design maintains 3D shape * QUICKRELEASE: Forward angle provides more wrist mobility * SOLIDSEAL: Single Pro T pocket design for greater visibility in the pocket * MOBILITY: Large cuff opening for freedom of movement and wrist flexibility. * Interior palm made of clarino with mesh finger stalls. * 590 design (60 degree break). * Permiter Measurements: Senior - 45, Intermediate - 44

Our apologies, but the pic of the white/black/red glove on the 18K item page was actually of a 14K glove, not an 18K glove. The 18K only comes in a one piece cuff and a 60 degree break. To get a 90 degree break and a double cuff then you have to custom order a P4 glove.

P4 Pro will have more palm protection and uses thicker leather and plastics. Depending on your level of play, the 18k might be enough protection. If you are playing a high level of hockey and want a glove that will last longer, I would recommend the Pro.

The white/white/blue and white/white/royal are the same items. The white/white/royal catcher will match your other items.

Color Question
Are you sure the White/White/Blue is the same thing as White/White/Royal? There are separate pictures and the "Royal" looks clearly brighter. If the colors are really the same does that hold true for the pads/blocker as well? Thanks.

Question
what's the difference between the 18k and the ccm flex 500
I need it in all white

The biggest difference between these two catchers is the angle in which the glove closes on your hand. Many would consider the CCM to be a "baseball" style catcher in that it closes deep on the palm of your hand. The Reebok is more of a finger tip to thumb closure, so it breaks close towards your fingers.

Many say that the CCM break angle is similar to that of Vaughn gloves.
