Customer Questions & Answers for
Vaughn Custom Sports 7460 Knee & Thigh Guard

The 7460 Knee/Thigh Guard features a three section design for a close fit and maximum protection. The units easily fit underneath the goalie's pants, and the three (3) strap velcro attachment system keeps the units in place.Thigh protection has plastic reinforcements that are segmented into two sections, with a more narrow, low profile knee cap for a close fit. Two nylon webbing loops sit at the top of the thigh protection that can be attached to a garter belt or skate laces to help keep the units from slipping down the leg during play. The 7460 is a JUNIOR knee/thigh guard that fits ages 14 to Adult, depending on leg size.

The Vaughn knee guards do not have plastic in the knee cap, but rather a higher density foam. If you are looking for a knee guard with plastic knee caps, I would recommend looking into the various Reebok knee guards.
