Bauer Profile 940 Goal Mask

The Bauer Profile 940 goal mask is new for 2012, and it features the same look as Bauer's iconic 960/961 facemask - the #1 goal mask in the NHL.The 940 features a full fiberglass construction, but the thickness of the material has been increased to provide a protective, rigid shell. Pronounced ribs on the forehead keep the puck from squarely impacting the mask, and the flared, forward facing chin protection is protective and it keeps the mask from getting hung up on chest/arm protection.The attached certified stainless steel cage is made of round bar with the grid lines strategically placed for optimal sight lines.The interior padding is made of layered vinyl-nitrile (VN) foams for comfort and protection.
