Customer Questions & Answers for
Stealth RS II Composite Stick

The Easton Stealth RS II has been redefined but still holds the premier spot on the Stealth line. With concerns of durability on the line, Easton redirected their focus and took the RS to a heightened level for a second time. Weighing in at just 444 grams (senior) the RS II offers a nicely balanced feel in your hands. The RS II shaft is now equipped with TORX, which is the distinguishing elliptical shaft shape in the lower portion of the hockey stick. This increases the shaft strength and rigidity to the blade, resulting in rapidly quick shots and accurate releases. The elliptical tapered shaft is now constructed of woven Kevlar for extra strength as opposed to the original RS which just has a Kevlar wrapped shaft. Rounded shaft edges allow the shaft to fit naturally in the hand while the long-taper gives you a leg up on stick loading and accuracy. Matte finish from the top all the way to the tip of the blade continues the just right theme offering excellent hand/shaft control. The composite blade features Multi-Rib and Micro Bladder technologies with increased blade stiffness, which improves shot accuracy, puck feel, quick release, and most important the overall life of the stick. Taking over the competition again with its added technologies the RS II holds the premier spot for a reason.

RS II is embroidered on the shaft. It is also a flat black with a woven Kevlar design as opposed to the RS which is wrapped in Kevlar, and had some yellow towards the bottom of the shaft.

In colors, the RS and RS II are the same. However, the RS has a Section of yellow near the blade on one of its sides. The RS II two has almost no large color parts except for a thin yellow stripe down one side and the Easton Brand Name imprinted on the side of the stick too.

Go with the RS II.
I'm not exactly sure, but I think the difference is the bottom of the shaft- it's shaped more narrow and (I think) woven with Kevlar (not just wrapped). (Reportedly the design change was aimed to make the shaft stronger and, perhaps, last longer.)

The stick has a nice light and smooth feel. Worth the price, especially with the go green stick program.

answer 4
Yes the easiest way to differentiate is that the RS II has Easton written in yellow low on the shaft.

May not need plugs unless your taller (of skates) than 6'4ish. Right out of the box with no cutting if you're in the 6'1-6'3' range and can adjust to a new stick with micro-height-fluctuations between stick changes...

A couple of differences in the two would be the RSII is just under 15 grams lighter along with the shaft design is eliptical tapered for a better feel in your hands. The RSII blade is multi rib offereing more blade stiffness incresing the durability.
